  "text": "one way to address that is to move extensions in to the core spec really rapidly, and generally evolve core specs fast. WHATWG has basically gone that way with HTML/CSS, partially by consolidating power (!).\n\nhas not (yet?) happened in Fediverse, and interop situation is not great"
