"text": "For N Scale, I swear by Kato Unitrack. The rail joiner worries completely disappear, and Kato does a great job keeping it all in gauge.\n\nThe main downside is you don't get easy sound deadening and the molded ballast is a bit tall. But you can raise the terrain around the track to counter that."
